Tzatziki With Pita Bread
This is hands-down the Best Tzatziki sauce I've had since my Greek-American teacher made her traditional family recipe for the class! Thick and creamy with a delicate flavor that won't overpower any dish, but tasty enough to enjoy on its own with soft, fresh pita bread. Enjoy!
Gyros Plate
Love the cut up pitas with the meat on top, rice is a nice addition & the salad is scrumptious.

I attended military school in Great Lakes, Illinois. I took the train to downtown and had my first taste of the Chicago style hot dog. It was so good and I remember it well. This is definitely the place to go for that! They even use the genuine peppers that spice it up a bit.

We have tried many things here and all are delicious. Never had anything we didn't enjoy. My top favorites are the gryo burger, Chicago hot dog and the Avgolemono soup.

I never knew I would ever crave a food item made with spinach! The dough is a magical blend of flaky and moist. It's the perfect pastry to go with the delicate spinach filling. Soo good!
Onion Ring
Pappa Gyros is one of my favorite neighborhood places to go. Everyone is nice, place is always spotless, and the food is fantastic. My grandkids love the Zoltar fortune teller!
Original Gyro
Coming all the way from Fort Wayne Indiana we always stop by and have Absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel taken care of. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish tasted thoughtfully prepared, and you can really tell they care about quality and consistency. Service was quick without feeling rushed, and the attention to detail was impressive. This is easily one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. Highly recommend, and I'll definitely be coming back!
Italian Beef
My husband and I have been coming to Pappa Gyros since the days when Chris was off Kingsland & 99, and it has always been a favorite. The food is consistently outstanding, and Chris is incredible—he truly cares about his customers and always makes time to say hello. We've tried many items on the menu, and every single one has been excellent. Highly recommend!
